2.5 hours
In today’s rapidly changing and unpredictable business environment, the mindsets we bring to challenges determine both personal and organisational success and help us navigate disadvantage to advantage. This 2.5-hour workshop explores the Growth Mindset, as defined by Carol Dweck, alongside the Paradox Mindset, enabling individuals and teams to hold and navigate seemingly contradictory perspectives. Drawing on the VUCA framework - Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, Ambiguity - and research on perspective taking, participants will examine how mindset influences decision-making, collaboration, resilience and helps develop anti-fragility in high-pressure environments. Participants will learn to recognise fixed mindset patterns, cultivate curiosity and develop cognitive flexibility required to thrive in complex situations. The workshop provides practical strategies for embracing challenges as opportunities, enhancing empathy and perspective taking and fostering organisational cultures that encourage learning, adaptability, creativity, curiosity and innovation. Participants will leave equipped with tools to embed growth-oriented, paradox-embracing mindsets into both individual practice and organisational systems.
