About the facilitator
Dr Andrew Lewis is an accomplished performing and screen arts educator and recognised leader in his field, with an acclaimed industry career followed by 20 years of success as head of Performance with one of the world's leading performance training institutions – the nationally recognised Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA). Successful alumni include Hugh Jackman, Tim Minchin and Lisa McCune. Andrew has extensive experience as an actor and director. He has directed a few television series that you may be familiar with including Home and Away, Neighbours, Parrallax, Something in the Air, All Saints, Going Home and Playschool. He has lectured around the world in Acting and Directing. Andrew holds a PhD in Storytelling Devising Practices and two Master Degrees in Theatre and Screen studies. He has a wealth of both academic and industry knowledge and enjoys inspiring people to ‘Stop Acting and Get Real’. Work with Andrew to achieve your Peak Performance.
