Sue has been a professional educator, trainer, and facilitator for over 30 years. She is passionate about helping people and organisations build their capabilities and solve their own problems. Sue also has a passion for Business Analysis and Business Intelligence, and how these two disciplines can come together to deliver business value and enable businesses to make better strategic and tactical decisions moving forward.
Sue was a consultant and facilitator for nearly 17 years. During that time, she developed and delivered training and consulting across a range of subjects, including Business Analysis, Business Intelligence, Project Management, Database Management, Office 365/Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and IT Service Management.
Sue’s most recent role was as Productivity Lead. In this role, she developed a consulting framework for Microsoft 365 to help ensure that organisations undergoing digital transformation could achieve their desired levels of productivity and collaboration. Sue was the developer and lead consultant for the Lumify Microsoft 365 Good Practice Framework (GPF). The GPF defines three pillars that enable all aspects of a successful implementation of Microsoft 365: Process and Product Training, Guidance and Governance, all underpinned by Change Management.
Before this role, Sue was the Process Portfolio Manager, responsible for the full catalogue of process products. In the classroom, Sue specialised in SQL Server, Business Analysis, Business Intelligence, SharePoint, Office 365/Microsoft 365, Project Management, and IT Service Management. This combination enabled her to take a very business-focused view of technology, the value it delivers, and how to deploy it.
Sue is a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) and a Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) in SQL Server Data Management and Analytics. She was previously a long-term volunteer with the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) Australian Chapter, including three years as Chair of the Perth Branch, and holds a first-class honours degree in Computer Science.
