2 days
The transition from operational and technical roles into leadership is often a difficult one and represents a significant challenge for many frontline and emerging leaders. Employees are often promoted for their technical knowledge and experience but find themselves struggling to be effective and deliver sustainable impact and performance.
This program aims to illuminate the absolute fundamental “building blocks” of effective, emotionally intelligent leadership. Participants will gain an understanding of the requirement for adaptive leadership, informed by the leadership context and the differential needs of team members. They will develop a clear understanding of the desired culture that is required in a dynamic and complex environment and the actions they can take to build it. Finally, participants will explore a range of “must have” frameworks that will enable them to build a cohesive and aligned team, build individual competence, motivate and engage staff and ensure optimal performance and accountability.
This program is aimed at emerging and frontline leaders, but will suit any people leader looking to gain insights into the fundamentals of leadership. Ideally, this program should be conducted over 2 days but can be customised to suit individual client needs.
Participants will receive a comprehensive workbook and electronic copy of the slide deck containing key models and frameworks
