This two-day course builds on the essentials coaching course, Core Coaching Skills, and deepens leaders’ coaching knowledge and capabilities. It focuses on how to incorporate a coaching style as part of day-to-day leadership by: building an environment of safety and inclusion to enable coaching to become part of everyday working life; giving feedback successfully as part of a coaching style; using coaching in delegation. Delegates explore how to adapt their coaching style to connect authentically with diverse personalities while examining their own unconscious biases that might be limiting effectiveness.
The course is highly practical and also covers a deep dive into listening and questioning skills.
Throughout the two days, delegates have extensive opportunities to practice with peers, receive constructive feedback from peers and facilitator, and refine their approach. We work with proven coaching models in realistic scenarios, building confidence and competence simultaneously.
This is for leaders/managers who have a grounding in coaching and want to take their leadership coaching style to the next level.
