About the facilitator
Driven by a mission to create safer spaces for health, learning and growth, Alastair specialises in creating psychologically safe environments that foster learning, wellbeing and professional development. Drawing on both professional expertise and lived experience of mental health challenges, he combines compassion, critical thinking and practical insight to help individuals, teams and organisations thrive.
With a diverse educational background spanning environmental and analytical sciences, business psychology, work health and safety, entrepreneurship and education, Alastair brings an interdisciplinary approach to leadership, mental health and workplace learning.
He is a certified practitioner in occupational health and safety, change management and psychological safety, an ICF coaching member, accredited Mental Health First Aid Instructor, meditation instructor and Mental Health Foundation advocate.
Alastair has facilitated programs for a range of respected training providers, health organisations and professional bodies, delivering impactful learning experiences across mental health, safety, leadership and personal development. He co-authored a chapter of the Australian Institute of Health and Safety (AIHS) Body of Knowledge on Mental Health for Occupational Road Users and has served as a sessional lecturer in Work Health and Safety at Edith Cowan University.
As the creator of the Fearless Teams program, which helps organisations build psychologically safe and high-performing workplaces, Alastair also delivers Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training, coaching and tailored facilitation services that strengthen wellbeing, leadership capability and team performance.
